Ropeway station design
D-Line Ropeway Station
Modern architecture and innovative technology merge in the D-Line stations. The slender concrete pillar, the flat ascent and the elegant underside are acoustically complemented by the sound-absorbing external guide, rubber-mounted running rails and the noise-reducing rope sheave shape. Added to this is an intelligent room concept that significantly increases maintenance comfort for cable car employees. These and many other details consistently put people and their needs at the centre of attention.
Station roof R1 - Proven and yet completely new.
The R1 D-Line station roof is cable car technology at its best. It continues the classic line of Doppelmayr/Garaventa stations. Its top features include snow load-optimised, round shapes, individual colour variants and UV-resistant polycarbonate panes as well as a real glass design - for maximum scratch resistance and the best acoustic properties. With the photovoltaic option, the station even becomes a power station for renewable energy.

Machine-Housing design at the highest level
A ropeway station is first and foremost a landmark in the vastness of the mountains, the beginning or end of a journey. It therefore makes sense to view it as architecture that defies the weather. However, a lift station is above all a machine consisting of motors, pulleys and rollers, a machine that is operated, ventilated and maintained like any other drive unit. And a lift system is also part of the product world that surrounds recreational athletes. The station design of the D-Line is therefore the logical consequence: a device housing oriented towards the suspension cable with a modern look.
